Ayoma Fonseka, of Ayoma Cake Masterpieces, is an internationally renowned cake designer. Each of Ayoma’s cakes is a one-of-a-kind cake and confectionery masterpiece that brings a special touch of elegance to every celebration. She custom designs the exclusive cake to highlight the unique event. She also specializes in chocolate truffles.Her blue chip client roster ranges from multinational companies to the society weddings of the year.

Ayoma has won over sixty-five awards for her creations. She has been featured in many Canadian and International magazines, newspapers and on television. She has appeared on Canada AM, C.F.T.O. Evening news, City Line, City TV, B.T., Life Network, Food Network, Rogers and many others. Ayoma's work has been published in Toronto Star, Globe & Mail, Sun, Japanese Newspaper, Bayview Post, Toronto Life, Wedding Bells, WedLuxe, Canadian Living, Wedding Essentials, Homes, Weddings InStyle (US), Brides by Demetrio's (US), Wedding Cakes a design source (British) and numerous other publications.

Ayoma has taught cake decorating and Gum paste at Toronto's Culinary School, George Brown College for over a decade and had been a Wilton instructor for several years. She has judged many cake competitions including the competition organized by the Rotary Club of Edmonton, Alberta

She has demonstrated her skills and techniques at the Pastry Chef's Guild, C.S.S.A. Loblaw's Cooking School, L.C.B.O. the Bay and other events.

Toronto's  'Mega City', inaugural cake desinged and created by Ayoma was showcased in seven newspapers.

The wedding cake for the movie 'CAKE' - starring Heather Graham, David Sutcliffe, Sandra Oh, Cheryl Hines, and Taye Diggs was created by Ayoma.
